About Me
My name is Annika; I am the founder of Annika's Insides.
From concept to completion, I design, build and install your units to create beautifully unique, hand-finished, fitted furniture & storage solutions for your home.
I work from my studio and workshop in North London.

About the name
The name Annika's Insides is a playful twist on the interior elements that I design and create, focusing on the way a space works & makes you feel when you're inside it.
By creating bespoke storage, I make fitted furniture that is designed to be filled; the insides refer to the importance of what will be stored in the units in terms of practicality, not just the beauty of the units themselves.
What to expect
With any new project, decisions can be hard. I give you the time and space to make the right ones; offering advice from experience, detailed working drawings and sketches, as well as a portfolio of photos of previous projects to help you visualise the overall space and the details. I use my design background and my keen eye for detail to work with you iteratively, ensuring your final design is just right for you.
Background
I have a degree in Industrial Design, a PGCE in Design Technology from Goldsmiths, five years' experience teaching Design Technology in Secondary Schools and over 15 years designing and making experience.
I have spent the last 3 years focusing specifically on woodwork for interiors; panelling, storage and fitted furniture, attending courses at The London School of Furniture Making.
